Get Thee Some Protein

Hey, whenever we recommend a product or restaurant, it’s still up to you to make sure that they are safe for you or whoever it is with a peanut or tree nut allergy. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions, okie-dokie?

You’re at the gym and you do a mega-hard workout. I mean, you’ve grunted away and blasted those quadristrings or whatever. Now, you need that dose of protein or your entire workout will be a waste. The clock is ticking! All of your new muscly-muscles will all melt away soon! So you go to the counter to get a protein bar and, of course, they’re all made of nuts. You have to settle for that milk-like drink that tastes like spackle.

After looking and looking and looking at the grocery store, it appears that a couple of Luna bars may be okay. I’ve read some differing opinions on forums so it’s up to you to follow up before trying it (see disclaimer above), but take a look at the lemon zest and s’mores flavors and see what you think.

Don't Go Nuts Nut-Free Organic Snack Bars

Hey, whenever we recommend a product or restaurant, it’s still up to you to make sure that they are safe for you or whoever it is with a peanut or tree nut allergy. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions, okie-dokie?

In my first post about nut-free foods, I have to sing the praises of these bars from Don’t Go Nuts. While all of their products are good and, as they promise, nut-free, the Gorilla Power Chocolate Chip Granola bars are something special in the world of nut-free products. If they weren’t a little on the pricy side, I would make an entire box a meal replacement. So give these nut-free, organic and kosher-dairy snacks a try - you’ll thank us. If not, there’s something wrong with your taste buds.

Welcome to Nutless Me!

Information for those Dealing with a Peanut or Tree Nut Allergy
Hello and welcome! Nice to meet you. This blog is intended to be a resource for those of you with nut allergies or parents of children with them. In a world gone nuts, it can often be difficult to find places to eat out, to find places to shop, or to find news about evidence-based developments in the treatment of peanut or tree nut allergies. I hope that you’ll find them here. Also, it’s really hard to find complaints about this nutty world by those of us directly affected by them so you’ll find plenty of those here as well (that was sarcasm, Sheldon Cooper).

To be completely honest, this blog is also a demo so that we (this company) can show one alternative to the big blogging platforms that have become so bloated and overbuilt but are launched on shared hosting services. When put together, those blogs barely function but some folks have made entire careers based on the combination. So if you need quality web, cloud, software, database, yadda, yadda, yadda development, be sure to give us a ring. Portland Web Development by Primary Key Technologies.
